Braggin’ on: The Southampton Press

EXECUTIVE EDITOR JOE SHAW writes about awards from the New York Press Assn.:

“First place, Division 3

The Southampton Press, Eastern Edition

‘Very professional layout and design. Photography is high quality and very well used. Nice typography and many points of entry onto the page. Superb!’

Second place, Division 3

The East Hampton Press

‘Good layout–items well spaced on page. Fine typography.’

For the record, the Eastern Edition also won Photographic Excellence, with the Western Edition finishing second…and the Western Edition won first place in General Excellence, with The East Hampton Press finishing second. Among many awards!

A tip of the hat to you, as always…”
