THE TIMES AND DEMOCRAT MORPHS into the TIME magazine cover in this page from Kristin. Perhaps a look worth emulating.
I saw that you had a couple of reverse type pages on your blog. Well, I finished that page that I consulted you about earlier and thought you might want to use it on your blog, too. I had to tweak the final look because our attorney said we needed to change it a little more so that it didn’t look too much like TIME magazine. The top part of the package is in reverse type. I made our normal font into Franklin Gothic Demi 12 point size on a 13.3 point lead. It turned out very readable and the black looked really good in print as well. I hope everyone likes it.
FROM ED: Can’t think of much I’d change here. I really like the page…yes, even with the reversed type. I’m happy to know you ran the reverse text in a stronger, bold font. That way, it can be read—and you risk fewer problems with registration and press work.
I like it! And now…let’s hear from others. Whaddaya say?
