ALSO FROM The Greer Citizen’s Darah Patterson comes this batch of recent pages.
We were interested in posting some of our pages in your blog in order to receive feedback. I’m attaching several examples of our news, living here and special sections.
The to do page is a new concept that we have started publishing. The subjects rotate each week between trends, projects, pets, and health. We wanted to maximize our limited resources but cover more subjects that appealed to our market.
FROM ED: Great picture and lead package, but the bottom two stories and the bottom-of-page package feel like a stack of pancakes.
FROM ED: The smaller two photos fight for attention with the photo in the lead package.
FROM ED: Interesting story on the bear. Too bad no one was able to offer us some photos!
FROM ED: One green tint is enough, thank you. I would not have repeated it in the horizontal page of info items.
FROM ED: The shadows appear different here. Are they?
FROM ED: Nice job placing the book cover photos, but the gray bottom package hurts the page.
FROM ED: Good work on this page, though the tint on the right rail hurts the page. Let’s just use a hairline to separate this from other elements.
FROM ED: Ditto my comments above about the tint on the right rail, but I like the way the photos work on this page
OK, folks! Darah’s asking for feedback. I’ve taken my shots. How about you chiming it?
